The Company
The influences of the Texas Hill Country inspire the features, function and style of JB Smith Homes. The homes we build are a mixture of elegance and common-sense country living. The designs are marked by open, flowing floor plans that make for effective, eye-pleasing use of space.

Each project is supervised by JB Smith founder John J. Smith, a second-generation homebuilder. After spending nearly a decade working for two national homebuilders, the San Antonio native decided to start this unique venture, created to give homeowners what they really want. Mr. Smith is intimately involved in all aspects of the homebuilding process. He supervises each project, taking care to make sure the job is done to his – and the homeowner’s – exacting standards. We sit down with our customers to discuss what kind of home best fits their lifestyle. We share the details of our quality construction process, from the materials we use to our blend of traditional and contemporary styles and workmanship. This kind of hands-on, personal attention to detail gives us the flexibility to be more creative, guaranteeing that no two JB Smith Homes are alike.
